Our parishes have as our core the celebration of Holy Eucharist. As Pope John Paul II wrote in Ecclesia de Eucharistia, “The Church draws her life from the Eucharist.” And it was the Holy Father’s hope that this Encyclical Letter would help to “rekindle a Eucharistic Amazement.”

In that spirit, every effort is made in our parishes, through prayer, planning and practice to make available an environment of reverent worship. We continue to discern the will of Holy Mother Church by ongoing studies of such texts as the USCCB writings on the General Instruction of the Roman Missal, “Sing to the Lord” (Music in Divine Worship), Pope Benedict XVI’s “Spirit of the Liturgy”, as well as many other reliable resources.
